Since 1958 Richard Mather has been building very well designed, high quality homes in the Greater Kansas City area. We are a family company with Brian Mather joining in 1984 and Mark Mather in 1987. In over 50 plus years Richard Mather Builder’s Inc., has built well over 1,000 Single-Family homes on both sides of the Kansas and Missouri state lines. We have won numerous awards over the years but the greatest reward we achieve is when someone builds their lives in one of our exciting new homes. A home that reflects their unique personality and lifestyle.
Brian and Mark are both graduates in housing design. Many of our homes are designs that we have created in house. One goal we have is to add space into our rooms, not waste useful space in hallways. Larger rooms with intelligent windows placements create a pleasant environment to relax in. We strive to incorporate into the design of our homes spacious well-planed kitchens, an open and dynamic entry hall, large master suites and expansive master baths.
For our buyers, we have furnished model homes in each of our developments so everyone can see for themselves what their home will look when it is finished. Some of the features in our model homes include granite countertops, hardwood floors, a fantastic kitchen appliance package, tiled floors, detailed molding packages, and walk-in fully tiled showers with “his and her” showerheads.
Many of our finished homes contain included features that are typically upgrades in other neighborhoods. Along with several items included in the model homes many include stucco and stone front exteriors, shutters, insulated glass vinyl windows, and low maintenance exterior materials. Many also have stone fronts and porch columns.
The neighborhoods we construct homes in include several amenities to enjoy. Walking trails, tree lined streets, and bronze statues add to the overall atmosphere. All the areas we are building in include a community swimming pool and recreational area for the residents of our communities. We strive to provide a great overall atmosphere to meet the needs and desires of our clients.
